Factors affecting conception rate in dairy cattle using sorted semen in Uttarakhand

The primary aim of this study was to evaluate the performance sorted semen in dairy cattle various breeds Uttarakhand. Total 6382 inseminations were performed different districts. Different factors considered for region, dam breed, parity number, insemination season, bull breed used insemination. Sorted provided by Uttarakhand Livestock Board. and statistical analysis using R version 4.3.1 software effect these on conception rate. Except all other having significant over overall rate 37.2±1.12%. Highest 35.7±1.69% observed first lowest heifer that 30.1±1.38%. In season summer highest 39.1±0.98% while rainy 35.9±1.17% winter 23.9±1.48%. Animals inseminated Hilly region shown 30.2±1.2% animals Plane 35.8±0.94%. Gir bulls 34.7±1.42% followed Sahiwal 34.6±0.86% Red Sindhi 29.6±1.43%.
